My Approach

I am a highly relational therapist and coach who values cultivating curiosity, laughter, and meaningful dialogue with my clients. I draw from a diverse range of clinical experiences and my robust training background and personal journey with trauma and anxiety equips me with a profound ability to empathize and quickly grasp the nuances of emotional and psychological suffering.

I firmly believe in the transformative power of using energy mindfully and my deep connection to nature, ritual, myth, music, storytelling, the Tarot, meditation, embodiment practices, and creativity serves as a holistic approach to healing. These avenues are not only tools but gateways to accessing your inner wisdom, fostering confidence in navigating life's inevitable challenges. In our collaborative journey, my aim is to help you recognize and celebrate the entirety of your being. Together, we will dismantle internal and external barriers that leave you guarded, alienated, and unsupported. We'll also work on shedding narratives imposed upon you that do not align with your values.

From a clinical perspective, my approach combines strategies from modalities like Somatic Experiencing and Polyvagal Theory, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My practice is strongly influenced by principles rooted in Buddhist Psychology, Liberation Psychology, Postmodern Feminist Theory, and a commitment to all things sex- and body-positive.
